Whilst the organisers of Croatia’s boutique hip hop festival Fresh Island might be still recovering from their gin and juice excesses- having just hosted a line-up of legends including Snoop, KRS One, Iggy Azalea, A$AP Rocky and more, not to mention 15,000 international fans – they’ve taken time out to announce this week that 2014’s event will be held in the same idyllic setting from 23rd to 25th July and early bird tickets are on sale now.
The 3-day scorcher takes place on the island of Pag at adjacent clubs Papaya and Aquarius – the same location as the infamous Hideout Festival – with budget airlines servicing nearby Zadar and Split airports. Both clubs have huge sound-systems and with a capacity of 7500 each festivalgoers can see their idols perform on an intimate stage in an open-air setting. Artists perform under the balmy Croatian sunshine and also under the stars – and the clubs are right next to the turquoise Adriatic Sea. Fresh Island is a festival vibe that will stay with you for life. And early bird tickets are just £28.
The line-up for 2014 remains under wraps for now but be sure to keep following all the news at www.fresh-island.org.
