Hard techno is arriving in Ibiza with serious intent. GALACTICA — the event concept that has built its name on uncompromising, hypnotic techno at venues including E1 in London, Nexus in Paris and Fabrik in Madrid — has announced its first official island residency at Eden in San Antonio, running from May through September 2026.
The residency is built in collaboration with Cocoricò, the legendary Italian club that has been at the heart of European techno culture since the early 1990s. If you know what Cocoricò represents — the ufo-shaped building in Riccione, the relentless sound, the vision — you’ll understand why this pairing carries weight.
A Different Ibiza Season
Ibiza has been shifting for a while now. House music still dominates, but there’s a growing appetite for harder sounds on the island — and GALACTICA is walking into that space with a clear sonic identity. Hard, hypnotic, high-intensity techno. No compromise, no crossover pop-techno dressed up as underground. The real thing.
Eden’s main room is built for this kind of music. The layout, the sound system, the capacity — it works for the kind of deep, relentless sets GALACTICA commissions. And running from May through September means this isn’t a one-off. This is a full season of building something.
