When shooting Made in Chelsea’s gorgeous Gabriella Ellis, we at the Flavourmag HQ decided to test out a new app called Mobile Makeover. Available on Apple, it’s a step by step guide on how to create a range of different make-up looks. Each look is created by a professional make-up artist and can be easily followed to apply to yourself or a friend.

There are different look options to choose from the beginning, such as bridal, celebrity and clubbing. They also give you skin colour choices. Once you have selected these options you are given many different make-ups to choose from such as fantastically funky ‘Rainbow Party’ to modern takes on period looks like ‘Show Stoppin’ 60’s’.

For Gabriella’s make-up, I chose a sultry look named ‘Dangerously Dark’ that consisted of this season’s oxblood lips and dark bronze eyes. Following the step by step makes it a simple look to achieve for even the most amateur make-up lovers. The app also helpfully gives you product recommendations for each stage.

I would really recommend this app to those who love experimenting with different make-up styles whatever their profession.
