This week I was honoured to be asked to be April’s guest editor for Flavourmag – and as a fan of the site, I was pretty stoked to be entered into the Flavourmag fray.

I love what Flavourmag stands for – articles and comments for the UK’s youth generation, focusing on what matters for us. Entertainment, society, and news that affects us. It’s so important that young British people have a voice in our country, and I feel great that Flavourmag provides that.

A couple of years back I was working on the online PR campaign for a film, and I wanted to work with Flavourmag on some talent stuff. I can’t remember what the film was now, but I do remember speaking to Leonard for the first time – the man himself! Leonard Foster will make any and everything work – he’s wonderfully creative, and I have loved working with him over the past couple of years.

So, what’s new? You are. This month Flavourmag will be exploring the world of the hugely talented 20-29 year old’s creatively changing the world we live in. We don’t do enough of this: we’re in fiercely competitive times in the creative industry (especially in London), where we’re up against our peers, but we’re not looking at what they’re doing for a bit of inspiration. We all have so much to be proud of, and I want Flavourmag writers to take a look at the 20 year-olds that are inspiring in their fields to excite and reignite your creativity and motivate you to follow in their foot steps.

Recently, I’ve started to enforce that I actually do the things I say I want to do rather than just keep talking about them – here’s hoping the profiles of these amazing twenty-something’s will inspire us all to get doing. #thisisour20s
