Babel House

Set in the heart of Mayfair, on Bruton Place, Babel House is offering a boutique European fine dining concept, and a modern take on the traditional cuisine of the Black Sea.

Seating up to 80 guests over two floors. The ground floor offers a traditional restaurant setting while upstairs features additional seating as well as a stunning private dining room which can seat up to 14. There is also a bar area upstairs, that is perfect for pre-dinner drinks.

For starters, there’s a variety of caviar, ideal as an aperitif and other dishes such as Artichoke Carpaccio, Seabass Ceviche, and fresh handmade Pelmeni and Vareniky dumplings available with an assortment of fillings.

For the main event, choose from contemporary delights such as Odessan Lamb Stew, Grilled Lamb Cutlets, Black Sea Turbot, and Salted Baked Sea Bass. All of the bread and cakes are baked from scratch in the Babel House kitchen, and only the finest organic and wild produce is used.

The dessert menu features pleasures such as pistachio cake, Syrniki, and honey cake. Main dishes are priced at £15 to £45 and guests can expect to pay on average £54 at lunchtime and £80 for dinner.

And yet, there’s more… For the more discerning guest, Babel House offers an extensive cognac and cigar menu, perfect as a digestif. Other drinks include a beautifully curated Black Sea inspired cocktail menu, dedicated vodka menu, as well as wine and Champagne.
