Julien MacDonald closes London Fashion Week with stupendous style

julien macdonald LFW 2018 collection

Fashion designer Julien MacDonald brought an end to London Fashion Week in stupendous style at the bankside vaults in London.

His spring 2018 ready-to-wear collection was modelled by some of the biggest supermodels in the industry such as Hailey Baldwin, Winnie Harlow, Alessandra Ambrosio and Martha Hunt and was absolutely dreamy.

Let’s set the scene.

Golden tickets in hand, we arrived at the vaults to three very long queues, luckily we didn’t have to wait in the queue as our VIP tickets sponsored by Etihad Airways gave us fast-track access whoop! as everyone was eager, excited and gagging with anticipation of the Julien MacDonald collection. Once inside the Vaults, there was a DJ on the right-hand side playing cool tunes and keeping the hype levels up and the bar was flowing and filled with Ciroc Vodka.

Then we moved to the main catwalk vaults, we sat, we waited, we looked left and right in anticipation of the start of the show. Celebrities filled the front row seats. Right in front of us was Amanda Holden with her daughter Lexi, Marvin and Rochelle Humes, Ronan Keating, Tom Daley and Rachel Stevens.

Flashing lights.

The lights dimmed, the crowd went silent and then it started. Flashing lights and an array of supermodels wearing the most amazing dresses I have seen this year.

Hailey Baldwin, Winnie Harlow, Martha Hunt and the queen of Victoria’s Secret models Alessandra Ambrosio made their epic entrances as the crowds watched in awe.

Every dress that hit the runaway was literally ready-to-wear, sexy, classy and flamboyant. Julien MacDonalds collection is surreal and if you happen to get yourself one of these dresses, you’ll be the star of the show anywhere you go.

But don’t take my word for it. Let the photo gallery below do the talking.
