Fancy making some cash as well as helping charity whilst taking pictures at the gigs and festivals you attend? Now you can! With YouGossip, a new photo and video-sharing mobile app, you can do just this. Simply download the free app, upload your photos and away you go. It’s that simple.

How many times have you taken a photo at a gig or festival and seen basically the same picture in the paper the next day? Well with YouGossip you retain the rights to the images you take and get paid to do it. Each time images are viewed, YouGossip pays you the uploader 35% of the revenue generated by advertising, and they also donate another 10% to their very own charity – The YouGossip Foundation (which helps The Bobby Moore Fund, The Willow Foundation and Vision Charity). The more views you get, the more money you raise.

The app, which allows individuals to retain full ownership of their snaps, has already proved to be a hit with celebrities such as Lauren Goodger, Ian Wright and Katie Price. “It’s a really fun app and the fact that I can help charity whilst doing something which I do anyway – uploading photos – is such a brilliant idea,” says the former model.

Even One Direction are addicted to it – they are currently running a competition with YouGossip for Comic Relief whereby fans can win tickets to see them on tour. So to all of you budding young photographers out there, what are you waiting for? Get involved! For more info, click here.  You can also follow @You_Gossip on Twitter.
