Lady Lykez – Psycho [Music Video]

“There’s a thin line between love and hate.”

Lady Lykez storms back in to 2014 with a vengeance with her explosive new track ‘Psycho’.

Exploring the extremes of emotions in a relationship on this dynamic track, Lykez expresses how love and hate are both strong passions and rather than being opposites, they can shade into each other with little warning; something that both guys and ladies can relate to.  Lykez captures this dangerous proximity between the passions perfectly with her exhilarating lyrics and draws on her ‘inner psycho’ for the video

Adds Lykez: “I wanted to get across the rollercoaster emotions of being in a relationship and crazy in love.”

Lady Lykez blew onto the scene in 2013 with breakthrough track Eurgh! with her sick flows and fast raps the track garnered a lot of attention and support from media and DJs.  Her follow up, controversial bouncy bumper track ‘I Love My Butt’ racked up over half a million views on the video on YouTube and national radio support, and firmly established Lykez as an artist on the rise.

Anyone that doubted Lykez’s lyrical ability was swiftly silenced by her ‘Fire in the Booth’ for Charlie Sloth, Radio 1 which dropped to rave reviews: http://youtu.be/yoWwfGU7gbQ

Last year Lykez graced the stage at some great events, including being the main support for US rapper Eve on her London sold out show, I Luv Live dates across the country, and a UK nationwide tour with DJ Melody Kane performing in cities including Bristol, Derby, Belfast, London and Southend. In October 2013, in conjunction with Punch Records, Lykez travelled across the pond to the US for a ‘Best of British’ showcase in hip hop home ATL.

Despite her hectic schedule, Lady Lykez continues to be actively involved with her on-going charity work for ‘Only Connect’ and travels throughout the London boroughs on a monthly basis to work with ex-offenders and youths at risk of crime where she uses her music and lyrics to inspire and motivate.

Catch Lykez headlining at ‘Do Your Ting’, a London showcase for talent at Vibe Bar (Brick Lane ) on 29th May 2014.
