With a chill in the air and winter nights closing we are excited to announce London’s glamorous Somerset House will be hosting this year ’s open air club night ‘LOVESICK Presents…DISCO ON ICE ’ at Somerset House on Wednesday 19th December 2012 playing music from the Sixties right through to present day hits.
With party popper personified Deanne Oliver-Evans aka Blonde Ambition on the decks, bringing that much needed festive cheer. Oering a selection of disco hits, electro and old skool classics from the 60’s, 70’s and 80’s right through to present day hits you can’t fail to make amazing shapes on ice. Shamu will be rocking out Nu Disco, Vocals and Deep House to keep everyone dancing and gliding with their hands in the air!
With its beautiful surroundings, every year Somerset House Ice Rink brings all the excitement of Christmas early, allowing families, couples, friends and the self-proclaimed ice skating aficionados amongst us the chance to soak up the stunning surroundings whilst ice-skating, dancing, drinking and possibly falling over.
LOVESICK will create a magical wonderland of glistening mirror balls and multi-coloured bunting— with pro skaters and dancers showing the rest of us how it’s done. We’ve heard of Roller Discos, but LOVESICK is providing a truly unique experience for those of us who love to party with a difference.
Skate times are:
1st skate session: 8-9pm
2nd skate session: 9.15 – 10.15pm
3rd skate session: 10.30 – 11.30pm
