We managed to pull Mara Ferreira away from her super busy schedule to write us a quick blog with her Top 5 Trends for Fall. 1. HOUNDSTOOTH
Houndstooth is one of those patterns that I get so excited about once the cooler weather starts to hit. I’m loving it in different colors like this green one. It’s such a wearable style that will be great throughout fall and winter!
2. COLORED LEATHER
Colored leather has been a big trend this year and I have to say I’m a fan! I love this green midi skirt with the chunky brown sweater. This is my ideal fall look!
3. COBALT BLUE
Cobalt blue is one of those colors that just pops. I love pairing it with other blues and greens to make it really stand out. This top is more of a subtle cobalt because of the organza overlay, but it’s pulled together with the purse’s vibrant color.
4. CAMO
Camo isn’t just for the boys! I love my camo print jeans and have been pleasantly surprised by how much I’ve worn them! They’re extremely versatile and look great with a tee or chambray button up. I think you could even dress it up with a pretty blouse and a pair of statement heels.
5. EASY OUTFITS
I’m always on the hunt for easy outfits, ones that don’t require a lot of thought but still look effortlessly chic. I’ve fallen in love with the jumpsuit trend, especially for fall. You can dress it with a pair of heels and a leather jacket, or make it more casual with a denim jacket and flats. Either way, you’ll be comfortable and no one will know how little time it took to put your outfit together!
