Ayia Napa’s thriving music scene has become a culture all in itself, drawing thousands of ravers to its shores every year. DJ Cameo is one of the UK’s most prominent DJs overseas throughout the Summer months representing British urban music. The Ayia Napa Reunion 2010 CD is a collection of some of the biggest tracks of the year, mixed by one of the indus-try’s best and most respected DJs.
Ayia Napa reunion 2010 is released on 11 October, so that long after the closing parties, fans of urban music can enjoy the best of UK Funky, House, Garage and Grime, well after the Summer has been put to bed.
A ten year resident of BBC 1Xtra, DJ Cameo is a veteran of new urban music, introducing the freshest new artists, producers and DJs. The Reunion 2010 is testament to that, split into ‘Street’ and ‘Club’ CDs, the former featuring hot Summer anthems; Mr M’s Dash Down and Funky Dee’s Are You Gonna Bang? and grime underground hits Tempa T’s Next Hype and CD is Dead, also featuring JME.
On the latter, singer/songwriter Meleka represents with Go, Eygpt’s In the Morning and DJ Naughty produces a Funky remix of Jasmine Sullivan’s “Bust your Windows”.
Ayia Napa Reunion 2010 is a compilation of some of the best in UK dance music. It is mixed live by DJ Cameo and hosted by MCs Funky Dee, Silva, Riskgo, C-Don, Ramzee and Kaos.
