Billy Hufsey (FAME) pupil Mary English has recently released her newest single ‘The Other Side’ teamed with an energetic and artistic video. The track features upbeat, melodic hooks and catchy vocals, perfect for the summer.
‘The Other Side’, written by Mary English herself along with Elliot James (Hey Monday), was recorded at the legendary ‘Studio Malibu’, which has housed artists such as Zedd, Lady Gaga and Britney Spears. Mastered by Robert Vosgien at Capitol Records in Los Angeles, the track was influenced by artists such as Katy Perry and Demi Levato, which can be heard throughout. Only 2 years into her music career, Mary English has gained support from MTV and performed with the likes of Aaron Carter, who she cites are one of her inspirations. ‘The Other Side’ is taken from Mary English’s new EP due out later this fall.
