peugoet 208 GTi flavourmag review

When someone in the Flavourmag.co.uk office said the Peugeot 208 GTi is not for girls, we immediately got our placards out and started chanting all sorts of feminists chants.

Not for girls…? What does that even mean?? Was he referring to the engine size, the sports bucket front seats with red stitching, the 18″ ‘Lithium’ alloy wheels, the handling? What car on this planet is not for girls?

So we quickly reached out to the lovely people at Peugeot and got them to send us the all singing, all dancing, brand spanking new latest edition Peugeot 208 GTi down to the office for us GIRLS to review.

Upon arrival the first thing we liked about the Peugeot 208 GTi by Peugeot Sport was the sleek, matt, gun metal grey looking exterior colour. The car looked like a sexy, sporty little tank. Not for girls? It’s got girls and boys written all over it.

Once inside the Peugeot 208 GTi, we immediately felt comfortable and secure in the bucket seats that grip and hold you tight in the seat, almost pilot like.

Admitted the Peugeot 208 GTi model that we had, didn’t have all the creature comforts that we would have liked i.e. Sat nav and super loud speakers, but this is a little racing car, we guess, made to feel like you’re a rally driver in the cockpit rather than a mum or dad about to do their week shopping.

The Peugeot 208 GTi is sleek, comfortable, easy to handle, super fast and when we say super fast we mean super fast. For an engine this size, the car has a few hundred stallions under the bonnet.

Pulling up at traffic lights is always a treat in the Peugeot 208 GTi, little boys will pull up next to you and then look in awe as they notice that its a women, wearing lipstick in the front seat. You may get that feeling that they are motioning you to race as soon as the light go green. Well the good thing about the Peugeot 208 GTi is that race it can indeed, you can leave those little boys at the lights while they watch your rear view (pun intended) as it goes from 0 to 62 mph in 6.5 seconds.

Everything from spoiler to bumper looks great and with enough space in the boot to put shopping, shoes and even an overnight bag, this car is perfect for the adventurous women of today.

This car hold the road, has a huge torque and the ride is firm and solid. Do not buy this car expecting to get a soft cruise style drive, this car is build for speed and handling and the low profile rims will make you feel every bit of tarmac the car drives on.

Girls in the front and girls in the back, this sporty little model is ideal for running around town, while having an edge on those boys who think this car is not for girls.

Not for girls? Only a silly (wo)MAN would say something so ludicrous lol.
