Saturday 10th June 2017, saw the launch of Southport Weekender’s one day festival at Finsbury Park (London). Known as ‘the world’s friendliest party’ with it’s super chilled crowd, the Southport Weekender hosted 5 stages and headline Dj’s such as Kerri Chandler, Roger Sanchez, David Morales and even DJ Jazzy Jeff.
With an endless supply of crate diggers, award winners and genre pioneers all lined up to celebrate Southport Weekender’s long-awaited return, its debut in the capital brought breath of fresh air to the 2017 festival calendar., all after having bid an emotional farewell to their 28 year running event series in 2015.
