Princess Nyah can’t stand guys trying to pull her arm in raves, and eats plantain with everything. As she gears up for the release of her latest smash hit Hooligans she gives Flavour an insight into her favourite things.
Tell me about your song Hooligans.
Hooligans is about being in a club and almost having to be content with the guys that jump around like hooligans. Having to put up with the guys that skank over hard, pulling your arm and acting overly aggressive, when all you wanna do is buss a two step with your mates!
What is your favorite thing about being a singer?
I love the fact that my uniform is so cool! I get to wear the best shoes!
What is your favorite thing about Harlesden?
The culture.
Where is your favorite place to escape?
My Nans house, I love it there. I just go and chill out with my Granddad and my Nan and we talk about almost any and everything.
What is your favorite book that you read in school?
Roll of Thunder, Hear My Cry.
What is your favorite thing about your girlfriend or boyfriend?
I don’t have a boyfriend.
What is you favorite way to charm someone when you want something?
Ohh, I find this hard! I always just ask you know. Someone said to me “if you don’t ask, you don’t get!”
What is your favorite piece of jewelery?
A diamond pendant my Mum got me for my 21st with NY on it, cause I’m Ny for short in the family. I love it!
What is your favorite thing about the UK?
You can live here and still learn so many different cultures.

Where is your favorite place to watch sport?
The Emirates!!
What is your favorite food?
Plantain with everything!
What is your favorite thing about being a woman?
That I get to wear lip gloss and put Minx [nail design] on my toes!

My tutu.
