Hailing from Atlanta, Mike Sarge is a hip-hop rapper with a difference.
Instead of being inspired by the usual liquor, girls and fast cars, his tracks feature faith-driven lyrics with the aim to “inspire people to be authentic to who they are”.
Drawing influences from hip-hop, gospel and soul genres the EP delivers openness and clarity in a way thats engaging and speaks to people on a new level. The EP ‘Outta Line’ was inspired by comment from others for being ‘out of line’ for being himself, instead of allowing that to knock him down, Mike explored the phrase throughout the EP, putting no restraints on himself when creating the tracks.
