So it’s been three years since the Croydon trio blew a fresh breeze into the UK urban boy band genre when they appeared on X-Factor mentored by one Gary Barlow.

In 2014 they dropped a debut single by covering the classic Anita Baker track, Sweet Love (1986) and indeed made it their own.

Some issues with their label folding did not dent their rising star. Having supported acts like Omarion they signed to Sony and now the onslaught begins. 2015 is clearly about making sure that Rough Copy is on the lips of the whole of the UK and of course the world.

To that effect they release their first single in a year with an on point bit of thundering rnb and the single Same Formula and we love it at Flavour.

Look out on FRIDAY we will announce a MASSIVE and EXCLUSIVE competition where the WINNER will be the envy of all their friends when ROUGH COPY come to your home TO PERFORM LIVE in their living room!

The competition goes LIVE on FRIDAY 12PM.
