Satellite Gods is the moniker of Melbourne singer-songwriter Brendan McMahon, the creative musician who released his second studio album ‘Marker 7-58’ earlier this year.

Satellite Gods has had spins on Triple J Unearthed and received frequent airplay on community radio stations across Australia.

Releasing his first debut solo album at the young age of 52, McMahon is currently in the midst of recording his third album. Having already written half the songs for his fourth upcoming album, Satellite Gods is on track to release five albums in five years.

Working with session musicians on his previous release, McMahon pooled together an array of Australian Music legends for ‘Marker 7-58’, including members from classic Aussie rock bands The Angels, Boom Crash Opera, Wilber Wilde and more. The result is a well-polished 13 track release for listeners who enjoy Paul Kelly, Iva Davies, Bruce Springsteen and Mark Seymour.
