RnB singer-songwriter Shanky recently shot the video for her brand new single ‘First Sight’ at iCandy Studios. The London based singer has picked up the title of Zimbabwe’s Urban Groove Queen and won the ZIMAA Female of the Year Award last year so its fair to say that Shanky is an artist to watch out for.
“I fell in love with the Kizomba beat on this track as soon as I heard it,’ says Shanky about the single. “I just felt like it had to be a love song because of that romantic Spanish guitar sound in the instrumental. The song pretty much wrote itself. We have all had that moment when we first meet someone and you just cannot keep your eyes off them, sparks fly and you just know its the beginning of something special. So this track is for anyone that’s ever been in love! ”
