Netflix has unveiled the official teaser for its upcoming limited horror series Something Very Bad Is Going to Happen, and the title alone should be enough to make you uneasy.
Launching globally on 26th March, the eight-episode series comes from the executive producers of Stranger Things and is created by Haley Z. Boston, with direction from Weronika Tofilska (Baby Reindeer).
Set against the backdrop of an intimate wedding in a secluded snowy forest, the series follows bride-to-be Rachel, played by Camila Morrone, in the five days leading up to her ceremony. Alongside her fiancé Nicky, portrayed by Adam DiMarco, she travels to his family’s remote vacation home for what should be the perfect celebration.
Except Rachel cannot shake the feeling that something is terribly wrong.
As superstition, paranoia and a string of unsettling coincidences begin to escalate, the series explores a chilling question: what could be more terrifying than committing your life to the wrong person?
The cast also includes Jeff Wilbusch, Karla Crome, Gus Birney, Jennifer Jason Leigh, Ted Levine, and Sawyer Fraser.
Something Very Bad Is Going to Happen premieres on Netflix on 26th March.
