Authenticity and Passion are two words that hold great importance to South African rapper, Boolz. He explains that he sounds like no other, ‘I just want to sound like me’.

Recorded at Red Bull Studios in Capetown, South Africa, Boolz brings authentic South African hip hop with his debut EP release ‘Love Tha Hate’, telling stories of his neighbourhood and life.

A Capetonian born and bred electronic music producer and rapper, Boolz’ production is influenced by a variety of elements including hip hop, witch-house, house, kwaito and electronic music. He has been producing music since he was 14 years old and has played at some of Capetown’s most exclusive events and parties, including Cold Turkey Dookom EP Launch and LPM 2013.

In order to record the EP, Boolz stayed at the Red Bull Academy studio in Capetown for a week. The result is an original, authentic release that incorporate’s Boolz’ life and stories from South Africa and a fresh take on hip hop that is as intriguing as it is fascinating.

Now officially signed to Rude World Records, Boolz is ready to make his mark both in South Africa, and beyond. His fresh and authentic take on South African hip hop will definitely have him noticed on a global scale.
