As we transition from Winter into Spring, there are some pieces of clothing that are able to stay with us through this change. Living in the UK, there is not necessarily a huge change in the weather, so regardless, we are going to need items of clothing that will keep us warm, yet allow us to still stay on trend.

One key piece that never leaves our wardrobe but is sometimes forgotten about, are our denim jeans. Jeans are such a timeless, yet statement member of our fashion collections, and as we come into a new season, they are once again on high demand.

Like any other piece of clothing, as new styles and trends are introduced, there are always new ways for certain items to be worn. This is no different for jeans. We have come away from our simple and classic light or dark wash denim or our skinny or flared jeans. A pair of jeans is now able to be the centre of attention in our look. Acid wash, printed denim, metallic, tie dye, patchwork, block colours. These are just some of many examples of how a pair of jeans can be worn today, and depending on what look we are going for, there are so many ways for us to dress up a pair of jeans, or dress them down.

For a more casual and androgynous look, you are able to pair your jeans with a simple or patterned t-shirt and a worn out pair of Converses. For the girly girls, a cool toned top with a cardigan, along with your favourite flats is the way to go. Creating a smart and sharp outfit with jeans is not difficult either. Find a crisp button up shirt, a long fitted blazer, and to complete the look, a simple pair of plain black leather heels, or for more comfort, flat black brogues.

Instead of trying to avoid wearing jeans so you are not like everybody else, adapt some of the new ways of wearing them and fit them into your own personal style. Try different colours to suit your mood, different cuts to fit your shape, and different patterns to express your creativity. Just some alternative ways to Stay in Style with a classic pair of jeans.
