Ever since John Travolta made his signature moves in 1977’s Saturday Night Fever, moviegoers can’t get enough of male flesh dancing on the big screen. In more recent times we’ve seen the explosion of the Step Up series and in honour of the release of Step Up 4: Miami Heat on the 3rd December we’ve decided to compile a list of the hottest male dancers to date, with impressive dance moves and a hot body to match, what’s not to like?

Tyler Gage (Tatum) grew up on the wrong side of the tracks and is sentenced to 200 hours of community service. Nora persuades Tyler to team up with her for a major class project, gaining him the chance to earn a scholarship. When Emily (Kathryn McCormick, So you Think You Can Dance) arrives in Miami with aspirations of becoming a professional dancer she soon falls in love with Sean (Ryan Guzman), a young man who leads an elaborate and cutting-edge dance crew, “The Mob.” When a wealthy business man threatens to develop The Mob’s historic neighbourhood and displace thousands of people, Emily must band together with Sean and The Mob to turn their performance art into protest art, and risk losing their dreams to fight for a greater cause.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Columbus Short in Stomp the Yard

After the death of his brother, DJ Williams (Columbus Short) goes to Georgia to attend Truth University, historically an African-American college in Atlanta. But his efforts to get an education and woo the girl he likes are side-lined when he joins in his fraternity’s effort to win a step dancing competition.
