The best festivals you must attend this summer

Since festival season is almost upon us, we’ve rounded up some of the best festivals you must attend this summer.

What’s that you can smell in the air? It’s the smell of grass, tasty food, beer, and sunscreen, the main aromas of a festival.

We know it can be hard to find a festival that is perfect for you and your mates, whether you have a strict music taste or love exploring the genres, there is something for everybody in the crew.

1. Truck Festival

A festival like no other, a jam-packed weekend of incredible live music and a chance to make new friends along the way.  You’ll walk away from Truck with endless memories.

You’ll see an amazing lineup from Jamie T to Wet Leg and even The Kooks and Sub Focus.

Truck Festival takes place between 26th-28th July at Hill Farm in Oxford.

2. MOGA CAPARICA 

MOGA CAPARICA is one of the coolest festivals around. You’ll spend day & night dancing away to some of the best electronic artists around.  Taking place between 29th May – 2nd June in Costa De Caparica, Portugal (20 minutes from Lisbon), this is a festival you need to experience at least once.

3. Dnb Allstars 

If Drum and Bass is your thing then this is the festival for you. Be prepared to be submerged in a day of fantastic music and great people. Even if you’re a Dnb newcomer,  this festival promises to cater to all tastes.

You can expect to see all fan favourites, from Dimension to Culture Shock and many more.  The festival takes place on the 15th of September at Gunnersbury Park in London.

4. Gottwood Festival

Known as a mystical little party hidden in the middle of the woods. Gottwood is an independent boutique and intimate underground electronic music festival. Taking place between 13th-16th June at Carreglwyd Estate in Wales, this one should not be missed.

5. BST Hyde Park

BST is back and better than ever. Taking place across a variety of days in June and July in London’s Hyde Park, the 2024 headliners include world-famous acts such as SZA, Kings of Leon, Kylie, and even Robbie Williams. BST is one of the best family-friendly festivals in London.

6. On The Beach

Across two weekends, On The Beach festival is the ultimate way to spend your summer.  Major artists such as Bicep, Sub Focus, Carl Cox, The Kooks, and The Libertines will take over Brighton Beach with a fully stacked lineup for the whole group to enjoy.

Taking place on 19th-21st July and 26th-28th July, this is certainly a festival you do not want to miss.

7. Krankbrother Presents – Solomun 

Taking place on Saturday 3rd August, Solomun returns to Finsbury Park, London for round four of his one-day festival. With one stage and one mega sound system, this is the ultimate opportunity to see Solomun in London this summer alongside some special guests.

8. All Points East

Taking place across two weekends at the end of August at Victoria Park in London, All Points East is back with an outstanding lineup including Kaytranada, Loyle Carner, LCD Soundsystem, and many more.

9. GALA’24

GALA Festival is nine years old… Woohoo! Celebrate the May Bank holiday weekend at Peckham Rye Park between 24–26 May 2024. GALA is the kickoff festival season with an epic weekend of music. You can expect to see the likes of Folamour, DJ EZ, and many more.

10. Love Saves The Day

Love Saves The Day returns to Ashton Court on the 25th and 26th of May, another way to spend a glorious bank holiday weekend.  With an outstanding lineup, you can expect to see Camelphat, Sub Focus, Sigma, Dimension, and many more.
