2009 has started very well for 22 year old, Ghanaian born and East London based Star in the Hood, Tinchy Stryder. Having been tipped in 2008 as a rising star by everyone from Wiley (who gave him the moniker ‘prince of grime’) and Jack Penate through to MTV, Radio 1, The Guardian and (bizarrely) Norman Lamb, the current MP of Norfolk, the world’s hottest 5ft 3inch grime MC is proving worthy of the hype.Tinchy Stryder’s ‘Take Me Back’ featuring Taio Cruz and released in early January this year, not only debuted at no. 3, but stayed there for a month. ‘Take Me Back’ also scored a no. 1 on the video airplay chart, a top 10 position on national radio airplay chart, and is still, over a month later, in the top 10 of both the UK iTunes and singles charts.

Tinchy is one of the hottest acts of 2009 so it is no surprise that he is embarking on one of the hottest tours of 2009. Tinchy Stryder will be touring alongside label mates N-Dubz and new dirty pop group Fe-Nix. Tinchy Stryder will begin his UK dates on 30th of March (See dates below).
