I had the privilege to see Vanquish with my fiance Joe who is also a fan of the girls at the Bedford pub in Balham which is a lovely venue for upcoming music and the likes of Una Foden from the Saturdays and Lawson have performed there.
It was brilliant for us to be in a great music environment, watching other artists before the girls performed. We managed to see the girls as they came out of the stage door and they looked absolutely beautiful with their hair and make up done, they were ready to rock the show!
The girls did their own rendition of James Arthur’s ‘You are nobody until somebody loves you’ which was absolutely brilliant with a mix of their own songs which the girls had written themselves and had exclusively performed on the night and a cover of ‘Deeper’ by Ella Eyre.
My favourite song from the night is their second single ‘Let’s Get Away’, which had the crowd going and is a great uptempo number just like their new single ‘Damn which is out soon!
Me and Joe also got to have some photo’s taken after the gig and brought the girls a little present each, so it was lovely to spend time with the girls and speaking to them properly as we got to Skype them back in October so they remembered our name and faces straight away. Was also great to meet their manager Siobhan who is such a great lady and told us the girls have some exciting things coming up which will be posted very soon!
