The film follows Burt Wonderstone (Steve Carell) and Anton (Steve Buscemi) as two superstar magicians, whose long-running Vegas act is suffering from declining audiences. Their partnership also begins to show cracks.
To make matters even shoddier, there’s ruthless competition from guerrilla street magician Steve (Jim Carrey), whose cult following surges with each outrageous stunt, but there’s still a chance for Burt and Anton to save their act—both onstage and off— only if Burt can get back in touch with what made him love magic in the first place.
