World’s sexiest beach volleyball players to follow on instagram

Let’s face it, love it or loathe it, beach volleyball always seems to cause controversy, especially when it come to the, errrr, skimpy outfits.

The male players usually wear t-shirts, vests and shorts, while the female players wear bikini style bottoms and crops tops. I once saw someone call women’s beach volley ‘It’s basically supermodels jumping around a lot while wearing next to nothing’, while Bill Leckie from The Sun said ‘Brazilian blend of skill, glamour, superb athleticism, fun and, let’s be honest, sex appeal’.

In recent news, pictures of Egypt’s women’s beach volleyball team playing Germany in the Rio 2016 Olympic’s swept the internet as team players Doaa Elghobashy and Nada Meawad were both fully clothed and more importantly, Doaa Elghobashy wore a hijab.

I’m yet still to find out, who decided on the female outfits, was it the female players themselves? or was it a male somewhere along the line that decided on the uniforms?? I expect that as it’s named Beach Volleyball, the outfits probably are inspired by beach attire…
