Lauren Tuxford is a qualified beauty therapist and entrepreneur who opened her first salon at just 20 and her second at 26. Lauren loves working as a therapist and a business owner. In her spare time she loves to dance, shop, eat out and dine, finished with great conversation.
What’s your favourite treatment in your salons?
I’ll have to say eyelash extensions and nails.
What has been the funniest experience you’ve had at work!
Some of the funny comments that the girls come out with! Everyday has laughter in it.
What advice would you give to any young entrepreneurs currently working as a Beauty Therapist or studying Beauty with the hopes of owning their own salon one day?
Be prepared for hard work and long hours. Make sure that you have a stable business plan and mentor who can help you through the hard times. It isn’t glamorous but if it truly is your dream then my motto is make your dreams a reality.
You have achieved so much at a young age, do you plan or hope to open another branch?
The business plan is being prepared for the next salon which will be for the early part of next year.

No she has rich parents that have bought her the salons. her mother Sue told a client ” if you don’t like the changes then you can f**k off!” Pleasant woman eh? Also her girls gossip on their mobiles while doing clients nails!
