Zach Ashton, has announced the release of his fifth album ‘People & Places’ due to be released October 21st. Including the lead single ‘Borderline’ the new album was written and recorded over four continents and took almost two years to complete.

Zach Ashton, began his career as an international recording artist after being signed in Brazil in 2004.  Since then released four studio albums and performed for live audiences of over twenty thousand and televised audiences of eleven million. Ashton, who is known for his sporadic live performances throughout the world, has shared the stage with Grammy winners such as Dionne Warwick and Angélique Kidjo.

Inspiration behind Borderline comes from the difficulty of in understanding one’s place in a relationship that is plagued by a mental illness. The acclaimed recording artist mentions “With Borderline, I was trying to be as pure as possible in regards to the lyrics. I didn’t want any metaphors- just honest songwriting directly from the heart.”
