To celebrate the historic inauguration of Barack Obama as 44th President of the United States of America, the IBBAMO Trust will be hosting one of the largest events of its kind in the world, 20109 Change at the distinguished Indig02 on the 20th January 2009.
20109 Change will celebrate the hope and strength the world will take from this most important moment of our generation. 20th January 2009 will forever be remembered as a great day in history for change and will signify the potential of any single person to achieve their dreams and we want you to be part of this movement.
This event is hosted by the hilarious award-winning comedian Eddie Kadi and Musician Patrick Alan, who will also be performing with his band Music Box Live. In addition they will be joined on stage by a variety of special guests. Confirmed artists performing on this historic night, include our special guest star, Lemar, current chart toppers, NDubz, 2008 MOBO award winner for Best Jazz Act, YolanDa Brown, self-styled Brit-reggae starlet, Ava Leigh, North London’s finest and multi-talented singer, Natty and the uplifting London Community Gospel Choir. As well as this, DJs on the night include, the Top 5 chart star Ironik and BBC 1Xtra’s Twin B.
20109 Change will commence the evening with a video link to Washington D.C showing the historic event live and other worldwide celebrations. 20109 Change will make sure that everyone will have immediate and identifiable association to one of the biggest worldwide celebrations of hope and the change for a better tomorrow.
Proceeds from the evening will be used towards developing young minds for academic excellence.
