We’ve rounded up some of the best UK festivals that you need to attend this summer.

With the temperatures currently making spring feel like winter, we can’t stop daydreaming about the summer festivals taking place this year.  The roundup includes Wireless, Community and many more. However, if you can’t wait for festival season, you can head over to Glitterfest who are hosting their 4th Birthday on Saturday 30th April at The indigo O2 and it’s going to be awesome!

1. Reading & Leeds Festival

Reading and Leeds Festivals is back with their most exciting lineup to date. The headliners gearing to perform on the dual Main Stages include Dave, Arctic Monkeys, Rage Against The Machine, Megan Thee Stallion, Bring Me The Horizon and Halsey alongside the most exciting talent in rock, indie, alternative, hip-hop and dance with even more artists yet to be announced. The three-day festival takes place on 26-28 August 2022, returning to Reading’s famous Richfield Avenue and Leeds’ legendary Bramham Park.

2. Wireless Festival

 

Gopuff delivers Wireless, Europe’s biggest celebration of contemporary black music, returns to the UK bigger than ever in 2022, taking place at three sites over two weekends. The nine days of music starts on Friday 01 July – Sunday 03 July at London’s Crystal Palace Park and continues the following weekend with simultaneous three-day events in London Finsbury Park and Outdoor at the Birmingham NEC across Friday 08 July – Sunday 11 July.

3. Strawberries & Creem

The UK’s tastiest festival for music and youth culture is back with its best lineup yet! The festival continues to lead the industry in championing a gender-balanced line-up, with 60% female artists on the bill and will continue to promote women’s safety at live events with its ‘Safe Spaces Now’ scheme in partnership with UN Women UK. This will be one party not to miss out on in 2022.

4. City Splash Festival

After a phenomenal launch last year, City Splash Festival is back and bringing the hottest carnival vibes to South London with the biggest artists in Reggae, Dancehall, Afrobeats and more. Taking place on Sunday 29th May at Brockwell Park, Brixton, City Splash boasts a whopping 6 Stages, 60+Artists & 40+ food traders.

5. Community Festival

Taking place in Finsbury Park, London on Saturday 16th July 2022. The festival is set to kickstart your summer with a jam-packed list of some of the best indie talents out there.

Headlining the day is Two Door Cinema Club. Whether you know them or not. This is sure to be a festival that you cannot miss.

6. Henley Festival 

The UK’s most glamourous music and arts festival is celebrating its 40th anniversary this year with an unmissable line-up featuring some of the UK’s biggest music and comedy names. From Wednesday 6 – Sunday 10 July 2022, festival-goers are invited to be part of an unforgettable experience when the boutique black-tie festival returns to Henley-on-Thames’ stunning riverside for five, spectacular summer nights, celebrating 40 years of music, comedy, art, dancing, gastronomy, fireworks and magical moments.
