We’ve rounded up the best new tracks you need to hear this month.

The roundup includes tracks from Sophie Meiers, Daytime TV and more.

1. Sophie Meiers – “collar”

Sophie Meiers releases brand-new track “collar”. Think dreamy alt-rock.  Talking about the track, sophie said ” ‘collar’ is a song about intoxication, indulgence, wanting, and euphoria. i wanted to embody the feeling of your heart racing, and the lulling warmth in between. it is about words hanging in the air, unspoken and magnetic, filling space with blood orange light. it’s rare for me to write a song that feels so overwhelmingly happy and glowy”.

2. DAYTIME TV – side by side

Four-piece alternative rock band DAYTIME TV release their new track ‘side by side’. The final track to be lifted from their debut album ‘Nothing’s On But Everyone’s Watching ahead of its release; it’s a beatific, if bittersweet anthem to lost loves.

3.  Tove Styrke – Show Me Love

Swedish forward-thinking pop star Tove Styrke dropped her exciting, unexpected and sexy new single ‘Show Me Love’.  Talking about the track, she tells us ”I wrote it for someone I was madly in love with. Every word went directly from emotional parts of me, that I usually keep hidden, straight into the mic. It’s rare for me to write without any hesitation like that.”
”We chew up love like fast food, yet when we truly fall for someone it’s always the same big, amazing, dangerous thing. Slow love. Hard love. It grows, it hurts and it bends and it breaks. These feelings are like candy paste and cement at the same time. We’ve got that fun, fast food, easy side to it but it can also evolve into a war. I’m scared and obsessed with it.”

4.  Kid Bloom – I Fell In Love Again

Los Angeles native Kid Bloom dropped his new indie-pop masterpiece “I Fell in Love Again”. Talking about the track, he said “The song is about falling in love with yourself and the happiness that comes along with it”.

5. Alexa Dark – Ungrateful

New York City-based alternative singer-songwriter Alexa Dark owns up to her mistakes with a new dreamy single and music video “Ungrateful” out today. With biting lyricism and deep Americana tones, Dark aims not to apologize, but to defiantly reclaim and accept herself as she discovers more of who she is and who she will become.
