The rap icon made history at Yankee Stadium with three unique shows featuring surprise guests including Rihanna, Beyoncé, and Usher—and he’s bringing the celebration to Tottenham this September.
JAY-Z just closed one of the most ambitious runs in live music history, becoming the first artist to sell out three consecutive nights at Yankee Stadium—each with its own unique setlist, production, and lineup of surprise guests. The final show, dubbed JAY-Z Extra Innings on Sunday, July 12th, was a masterclass in hip-hop history and star power.
A Night of Heavy Hitters
The Extra Innings finale brought out an absurd roster of talent. Teyana Taylor joined him for “Can’t Knock The Hustle,” Jermaine Dupri came through for “Money Ain’t A Thing,” and Jeezy delivered “Seen It All” and “Go Crazy.” Usher teamed up for “Heart of the City” and “Throwback,” while Rihanna stunned the crowd with “Run This Town” and “Bitch Better Have My Money.” Swizz Beatz cranked the energy with a string of bangers including “On to the Next One,” and Pharrell brought his signature smoothness with “Frontin'” and “Excuse Me Miss.” Beyoncé made a special appearance for “Drunk in Love,” and Fat Joe and Jadakiss helped close out the historic weekend with “New York.”
The audience was just as star-studded—Michael Rubin, Tyler Perry, Travis Scott, Carmelo Anthony, Kelly Rowland, Lil Baby, and Chris Paul were among those toasting from the Armand de Brignac and D’USSÉ risers.
Three Nights, Three Distinct Experiences
Each of the three sold-out shows offered something completely different. JAY-Z 25 featured Eminem, Pharrell, and Slick Rick, while JAY-Z 30 brought out Beyoncé, Blue Ivy Carter, Nas, Alicia Keys, Memphis Bleek, and Jaz-O. The commitment to delivering a genuinely unique experience each night—not just shuffling the same setlist—is what made this run unprecedented.
Now JAY-Z is taking the celebration of his 30-year career across the pond. He’ll headline Tottenham Hotspur Stadium in London on Friday, 4 September 2026, with further dates lined up at Paris’s Stade de France on 10 September and LA’s SoFi Stadium on 23 October. If the Yankee Stadium shows are anything to go by, expect the unexpected—and a few very special guests.
