AlphaTheta XDJ-AN bridges bedroom DJing and the club booth

The new all-in-one system lets you stream, cloud-sync, and mix like the pros — no laptop required.

If you’ve ever felt the gap between bedroom practice and the DJ booth, AlphaTheta’s new XDJ-AN is designed to close it. Released today, the £999 all-in-one system brings together streaming, cloud library management, and a club-inspired layout in a compact two-channel unit that doesn’t require a laptop to get started — though it works with one if you need it.

Stream, sync, and mix from anywhere

The XDJ-AN’s headline feature is StreamingDirectPlay, letting you pull tracks directly from Apple Music, Beatport Streaming, and Tidal — with Spotify support coming in a future update. You can also access your rekordbox Cloud Library via Dropbox or Google Drive using CloudDirectPlay, meaning your prepared playlists and Hot Cues travel with you without a USB stick in sight. The Info Search function suggests related tracks based on what’s currently playing, making crate-digging across millions of songs genuinely usable in the heat of a set.

Cloud Library Sync keeps everything in step: edit a playlist on the XDJ-AN’s touchscreen, add cue points, or reorder tracks, and those changes push back to your rekordbox library on your computer automatically. The Playlist Bank even stores your sets in the cloud, so you can pick up exactly where you left off next time you power on.

Mobile-first and club-ready

For the first time in an all-in-one system, the XDJ-AN works with mobile DJ apps — rekordbox for iOS and djay for iOS — letting you perform straight from your phone, even offline. On the desktop side, it supports rekordbox for Mac/Windows (hardware unlock, no license needed), Serato DJ Lite, and djay Pro. There’s also built-in SonicLink wireless audio for ultra-low-latency monitoring with compatible headphones like the HDJ-F10, plus Bluetooth input/output and classic XLR and RCA outputs.

The layout mirrors AlphaTheta’s CDJ-3000X and DJM mixers, so muscle memory built here translates directly to pro club gear — a deliberate bridge for DJs moving up from controllers. And if you’ve already got experience with the OMNIS-DUO portable system, the XDJ-AN takes that workflow and scales it for more serious performance environments.

The XDJ-AN is available now for £999 (including VAT). Full specs, compatibility details, and the product introduction video are up at AlphaTheta.com, and you can find more resources at the AlphaTheta Hub.
