The Eskrima martial artist joins the roster today with lightning-fast combat and a story-driven search for her missing brother.
Street Fighter 6 is making history today with the arrival of Yasmine, the first Filipino martial artist to join the franchise’s iconic roster. Available now across PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, Xbox Series X|S, PC via Steam, and Nintendo Switch 2, Yasmine brings the blade-focused art of Eskrima to Year 4—complete with her signature Karambit knife, a family legacy, and a personal mission to locate her missing Kuya (older brother).
Trained under the watchful eye of her Lolo (grandfather), Yasmine’s fighting style is all precision and pace. Her gameplay trailer showcases high-speed slashes, acrobatic combos, and relentless aggression that keeps opponents on the back foot. Land her moves successfully, and she enters Bayani Mode—an amped-up state that makes her even more dangerous. It’s fast, fluid, and a genuine departure from the heavier hitters in the cast.
How to Get Yasmine
Yasmine is available immediately for anyone who owns or purchases the Year 4 Character Pass or Year 4 Ultimate Pass. She arrives with two outfits: Outfit 1 features her Eskrima combat gear, while Outfit 2 shows her in her school uniform. The second outfit can be unlocked by maxing out her Acquisition Gauge in Avatar Arcade Mode or purchased with Fighter Coins.
Her release also introduces Battle Balance adjustments for the entire Street Fighter 6 roster, so even if you’re not picking up Yasmine, your main might feel different. Yasmine is the first of four Year 4 fighters, with Arjun, Tifa from the FINAL FANTASY VII Remake Series, and Bosch still to come.
Special Collaboration and Event
Starting August 7, the Battle Hub gets an Onimusha-themed makeover with The Way of the Oni × The Way of the Fist collaboration event. All players who log in during the event will receive special colours, and a Street Voter poll themed “Your Favorite Genma” offers the chance to earn Genma stickers and camera frames.
