Warner Bros. Discovery is bringing Diagon Alley to London with a spellbinding two-storey shop opening 4 November 2026 on Oxford Street.
Magic is coming to Oxford Street. Warner Bros. Discovery Global Experiences is opening the UK’s largest official Harry Potter Shop on 4 November 2026 at The Ribbon, 134–140 Oxford Street, and judging by the first-look concept artwork, it’s set to be the most immersive retail destination the wizarding world has conjured in London yet.
Spanning more than 21,000 square feet across two floors, the flagship has been designed to transport visitors straight into Diagon Alley. Every corner of the space promises hidden magical details and authentic design touches, from bustling storefronts to enchanting environments. It’s a destination built not just for shopping, but for stepping inside the world J.K. Rowling created and the films immortalised.
What’s waiting inside
The centrepiece? A towering Ukrainian Ironbelly Dragon keeping watch over the Gringotts area, just as it did above the wizarding bank in the films. But the real crowd-pleaser will likely be the full-sized Knight Bus parked towards the rear of the store—a signature photo opportunity that brings one of the franchise’s most memorable magical vehicles into three dimensions.
Then there’s the Leaky Cauldron, an all-new food and beverage experience exclusive to the Oxford Street location. Fans can pull up a chair and order Butterbeer in all its forms—classic, frozen, hot, ice cream, plus an assortment of Butterbeer-inspired treats. It’s the kind of detail that turns a shopping trip into an event.
Oxford Street exclusives
The shop will stock a range of products available nowhere else, including an exclusive Diagon Alley Wand, an Oxford Street-only Harry Potter Funko Pop!, exclusive MinaLima artwork inspired by the Knight Bus and Diagon Alley, a Butterbeer label collection, and a full Oxford Street apparel range. Warner Bros. has hinted that more magical surprises will be revealed before opening day.
Karl Durrant, Senior Vice President of Retail at Warner Bros. Discovery Global Experiences, shared that opening the shop in London—where Harry Potter’s story began—feels like a homecoming. “Step inside and you’ll feel as though you’ve walked straight into Diagon Alley,” he said. “Every detail has been designed to transport fans into the wizarding world.”
The Oxford Street flagship joins existing Harry Potter Shops in King’s Cross, New York, Chicago, Harajuku, and Akasaka, but this one promises to be the largest and most ambitious on UK soil. You can sign up for updates and learn more at the official Harry Potter site.
