Victoria’s Secret took its 2026 Fashion Show to Los Angeles with a season-spanning wardrobe, a star-filled runway and performances from Megan Thee Stallion, KATSEYE, Tate McRae and Megan Moroney. Subtle? Not remotely.
Sometimes fashion is about finding the perfect everyday piece. Sometimes it is about a pair of wings so enormous you would need to reconsider how you get through the front door. The Victoria’s Secret Fashion Show very much has room for the second option.
Held on 18 October 2026, this year’s show brought together Bella and Gigi Hadid, Adriana Lima, Ashley Graham, Alex Consani and a much longer list of familiar faces. But beyond the names, there was a clear visual journey: flowers and fresh colour, metallic summer shimmer, richer autumn looks and a white-and-crystal winter finish.
From floral fantasy to full-on shimmer
Bella Hadid’s green opening-section look sets the mood beautifully. The delicate floral detailing, tiny skirt and branching decoration have a playful, almost storybook quality. There is plenty happening, but the bright green keeps it feeling fresh rather than overly precious.
Then comes the change of pace. Gigi Hadid’s summer look pairs pale blue lingerie with an open-front, colour-shifting layer and huge metallic wings. It is the difference between a garden party and arriving dressed as the party. No complaints here.
The official outfit notes make an interesting distinction between the lingerie underneath and the custom pieces built around it. Those oversized wings, embellished skirts and theatrical layers are doing a different job from the bra or briefs. Enjoy the fantasy without assuming every part of the runway outfit comes in one shopping bag.
The archive gets its own moment
Among the bigger visual statements, the archive-led section takes a different route. Victoria’s Secret revisits earlier designs through slips, lace and softer silhouettes, with Irina Shayk and Barbara Palvin among the models featured.
That contrast is part of the appeal. You can appreciate the enormous stage pieces and still find yourself more interested in a simple slip. The show’s official runway gallery separates the looks by section, which makes it much easier to find the detail that caught your eye.
Megan Thee Stallion, KATSEYE and a musical line-up with range
The fashion was only half the proposition. Megan Thee Stallion, KATSEYE, Tate McRae and Megan Moroney all performed, bringing rap, pop and country to the same production.
The official performance photographs show Megan Thee Stallion surrounded by dancers in coordinated dark looks, with hard white light cutting across the stage. Alongside the runway’s flowers and glitter, it is a striking change of mood. This is a fashion show, yes, but the concert element is not quietly sitting in the background.
What can you actually take from the runway?
You do not need wings to borrow an idea. A bright colour, an interesting strap detail or a softer slip silhouette can be enough. Pick the part you genuinely like rather than trying to recreate the whole production.
The brand’s VS Icon Shoppe edit brings the show into a more everyday setting through heritage-inspired pieces, sleepwear and backstage-themed merchandise. It is a separate proposition from the custom runway styling, so check the individual product rather than relying on a show photograph.
