The Belfast-born duo are the first act confirmed for Labyrinth on the Thames 2027, playing BICEP LIVE at Greenwich’s Old Royal Naval College on Saturday 31 July.
Labyrinth on the Thames has named its first act for 2027, and it’s BICEP. The Belfast-born, London-based duo are bringing their BICEP LIVE show to the Old Royal Naval College in Greenwich on Saturday 31 July 2027. Picture a summer night by the river with those huge breakbeat builds echoing off the colonnades. Plenty of people will be blocking out that date already.
Labyrinth’s third summer at the Naval College
This is the third Labyrinth series at the UNESCO World Heritage Site, and the bar is high. Its 2026 run was its biggest yet: eight sold-out dates and 76,000 people through the gates. BICEP are a good choice to open the next one. They draw a big crowd, and their live show is built for exactly this kind of open-air setting.
For a taste of what makes this setting special, revisit our reviews of Black Coffee on the Thames and Solomun’s five-hour Labyrinth set. Think riverside views, sunset skies and an atmosphere that feels a long way from an ordinary London night out.
Greenwich is also one of only two brand new BICEP LIVE shows confirmed for 2027. The other is at New York’s Knockdown Center on 20 March. The live show only came back after a three-year break, and its return at London’s Royal Albert Hall on 26 November 2026 has already sold out. That makes the Greenwich date the duo’s first major London show for the new album, so it’s worth taking seriously.
SLUG: the first BICEP album in six years
Speaking of which: BICEP’s third studio album, SLUG, is out on 29 January 2027. It’s their first full-length in six years, since 2021’s Isles. That record went to #2 on the UK Albums Chart and earned them multiple BRIT Award nominations. This time the duo are covering a lot more ground, with rave, breakbeat, vocal-led tracks and ambient soundscapes all on one album.
They’re clear that it’s a deliberate change of direction. “For this album we really wanted to massively broaden what we do,” BICEP said. “It felt like a new start for us. We wanted to make a much more varied album than our previous ones and push what people might expect BICEP to sound like. We just wanted an album full of surprises and contrast.”
So by July the new songs will have had six months to sink in. Expect a riverside crowd singing along to tracks that haven’t even been released yet.
How to get tickets
Pre-sale registration is open now. General tickets go on sale on Thursday 29 October at 10am. Given that the Royal Albert Hall show has already sold out, and that Labyrinth sold out all eight of its 2026 dates, waiting until the last minute is a gamble.
If you want to be dancing by the Thames next July, register for pre-sale on the official BICEP London 2027 page and set an alarm for the morning of 29 October.
