Eclectic Trap artist Anubis is about to drop his latest single Madness, available on all major digital platforms from the 1st March 2019.
Madness draws on Anubis’s Italian and Hispanic roots with its influences of Hip Hop, Reggaeton and Rock giving it a unique edge. The lyrics speak loudly about his struggle with isolation but he channels his energy into a powerful track that describes a period of self-reflection and a reminder to always push past the scars.
Anubis usually switches from gentle, melancholic to aggressive, always layering his songs with a hazy vocal that takes centre stage. Since the age of 9, he has been crafting rap songs and exploring the genre as a means of expressing his inner feelings.
Hailing from the concrete jungle that is the Bronx, Anubis was surrounded by many musical talents. He took to PLUG Studio in the city to record his music, the very place where Cardi B, A Boogie and Fetty Wap all came to record at the start of their career.
After a difficult start in life, Anubis is back to not let his past define him. He stands with pride ahead of the release of Madness, ready to put his mark on the music industry.
Madness will be available to listen from the 1st March 2019.
