16 talented acts aged between 13 and 24 will perform, showcasing different talents and attributes in order to raise awareness of sickle cell disease.

The talent show will be judged by a panel of experts which includes MOBO award nominee for Best UK act; Donae’o, actor Daniel Green (The Bill and Holby Blue) and founder of the AMCK dance agency, Aicha McKensie, plus Choice FM DJ Dre Thompson, Zoe-Ann Aston who founded the youth dance company Interlude UK and actress Tiana Benjamin (Eastenders).

Also in attendance, will be longstanding patrons of Broken Silence: playwright and presenter of the new channel 4 documentary, ‘On Tour With the Queen’, Kwame Kwei-Armah’ and actor Richard Campbell.

The Broken Silence talent show is a ticket only event.
