Does Canada Have More Opportunities For UK Doctors?

For this reason, more and more international doctors are leaving their home country for Canada.
As mentioned earlier, there is also a strong quality of life. Not least because doctors in Canada are far more in control of their salary. Unlike the UK, Canadian doctors are ordinarily paid by provincial governments, so depending on your province, you will invoice your services for each patient – including the nature of the service and the complexity – and the invoice will differ each time.
In this way, doctors’ fees can be steady, reliable and flexible, which adds to that happy working environment and – quite frankly – is the right salary model for the work that doctors do.
