With the release of her new single ‘Forever And A Day’, The Pop Princess is back.

You may recognise Molly and think “I know her but I can’t put my finger on it”…well you do! Molly was on Britain’s Got Talent in 2012 when she was just 11 years old, now older and studying music, she’s back with her new single ‘Forever And A Day’. I chatted to Molly about her new musical adventures.

Tell me about your latest release ‘Forever And A Day’?

Forever and a Day is my own little love song.

What’s your songwriting process like? Is it different each time?

We just talk about what’s going on in each other’s lives (the writer and I) and work from there. Or it could literally be stemmed from something I’ve seen on Instagram. It really depends on the session.

Describe Your Sound in three words

Pop With a Noughties R’n’B flavour. (sorry that’s 6 words)

What made you want to take up a career in music? Was there one moment where you knew this is exactly what you wanted to do?

I always watched Beyonce and Jennifer Hudson in the film “Dreamgirls” and recited all the songs, and that’s how I knew.

Who would be your dream collaboration?

I would love to work with Nao on a track, she’s amazing!

Top three tour beauty tips?

Lipgloss to keep the lips moisturised, translucent powder to hold back the shine and Becca Highlighter

We know gigs don’t always go to plan, what has been your most embarrassing onstage moment?

One time I did a college show and for the entire first verse, my mic was off. Tut tut.

What would be the theme song of your life?

Love on Top by Beyonce.

What advice would you give to someone that would like a career like yours?

Always push yourself to explore new genres of music, not just the ones you think you’re good at.

What’s next for you?

I would love to start touring!
