Good Vibrations Society Festival Returns to Ashdown Forest This Summer

Ms Dynamite, Orbital, and Bay City Rollers headline a three-day celebration of music, wellness, and community deep in the Sussex woods this July.

Good Vibrations Society is coming back to Pippingford Park in the heart of Ashdown Forest, and the 2026 edition looks properly dialled in. Running July 31st to August 2nd, this family-friendly festival has expanded its blueprint: world-class music across multiple stages, a full wellness programme, wild spa sessions, and a layout designed like a tree growing from roots to canopy. It’s ambitious without being overwhelming.

The Lineup Hits Different

Friday kicks off with Ms Dynamite, Gentleman’s Dub Club, Fabio & Grooverider, Zed Bias, and Ellis Dee. Saturday turns up with an Orbital DJ set, Hollie Cook, London Afrobeat Collective, Ebi Soda, and Doc Scott. Sunday closes strong: Bay City Rollers, Ibibio Sound Machine, Heatwave, Prince Fatty, and Tru Thoughts. It’s a wide spectrum—emerging talent sits alongside legends, spanning garage, dub, Afrobeat, and nostalgia-fuelled classics.

Beyond the Decks

Music is the heartbeat, but Good Vibrations leans hard into holistic festival culture. The Root offers daily yoga, meditation, and cacao ceremonies courtesy of Yard Yoga. The Enchanted Wild Spa delivers outdoor saunas, hot tubs, and plunge pools. There’s a 5K run club, forest storytelling adventures, aerial performances, and The Lily Pad—a new pop-up nighttime club tucked into the trees. The Hive caters to kids, while The High Street connects it all with indie traders slinging locally sourced food and drink. Founder Johnny Scratch Lee reckons they’ve finally nailed the site layout after years of fine-tuning, and honestly? The structure sounds intentional, immersive, and refreshingly grounded.
