Interactive magazine IdeasTap.com has launched a new nationwide search for the country’s top creative entrepreneurs, with the most exciting project to receive the Ideas Fund.

The scheme aimed at young creative talent aged from 16-25 is calling for any creative ideas to be submitted from the 1-30 June to win a share of £50K. Winners will receive funding of up to £5K along with mentoring to help ensure their project is a success.

The talent includes musicians, writers, actors and producers.

A panel including Kevin Spacey, Artistic Director of The Old Vic, says: ‘The competition is fierce for people starting out in the creative industries-and it can be tough for even those with exceptional talent to get their big break. This is why the Ideas Fund is such an exciting and important new initiative. It is particularly powerful as the money goes directly to the young and talented rather than via third party organisations. The team at the Old Vic is passionate about helping young talented people reach their potential and we are proud to be involved with IdeasTap.com. I encourage everyone aged 16-25 with imagination and vision to get involved’.
