With the release of Sacha Baron Cohen’s much-anticipated action-comedy Grimsby in cinemas today we sat down for a chat with Gabourey Sidibe on the film.

Gabourey Sidibe, who only has a small but pivotal part in Grimsby as Banu Cleaner first shot onto the silver screen in the tough and emotional gritty Precious and has since gone on to be a regular face on our TV screens in Empire alongside Terence Howard and Taraj P. Henson and her career doesn’t seem to be slowing down anytime soon as she is currently in the mists of writing her own book too.

Grimsby is out in Cinema’s 24th February.
