Lee Clark Allen, R&B/Soul and Jazz artist from Denver, USA is releasing his third single, Mud, taken off his latest album ‘Little Rock’.

His new single promises smooth, intimate vocals alongside his consistently jazzy instrumental, mainly Lee Clark Allen chopping on the Rhodes Piano. Halfway through, Mud takes a turn that makes this one stand out when we hear a powerful female vocal delivery from his bandmate and featured artist, Britney Jane. The two voices blend to perfection, taking the song to a whole new level of soulful.

Lee Clark Allen wrote Mud after some reflection of the times, in which, love demanded he loves the “whole” person-beauties and even one’s mud.

Not only does his lyrical ability shine through in Mud but also his talent on the piano, stemming from an early inspiration of his, Ray Charles. Now, his musical influences include R&B, Soul, Alternative Rock, and Jazz artists, including Leon Bridges, John Legend, Coldplay, Marvin Gaye, Nat King Cole, and Gregory Porter.

Lee Clark Allen is familiar to success after his previous single ‘I Wont Tell Myself a Lie’ reaching over 1 million streams and being featured on Empire State Mix Vol 7′ With the release of his new single Mud on 7th August, he hopes it will push his album in that same direction.
