Oh boy, the Margate Summer Series is quickly turning into the must-hit spot in our summer music diaries, and for good reason!
If you haven’t got your tickets yet, you might want to get on that ASAP. From May through September, Margate transforms into the ultimate seaside music paradise, drawing in a crowd eager to soak up tunes from some of the most electrifying homegrown and international talent.
This year, the line-up’s got everyone talking, especially with the latest announcement of acts that are set to make dance music aficionados of every age group buzz with excitement:
First off, Rudimental will be hitting the stage on Saturday 8th June. These guys are practically dance music royalty in the UK, known for bangers like “These Days,” “Feel the Love,” and “Waiting All Night.” And if that wasn’t enough to get you moving, SHY FX, the genius behind the jungle classic “Original Nuttah,” will be joining the party too.
For the families out there, it’s all about Raver Tots on Sunday 8th September. Imagine a day filled with tunes from garage legends Artful Dodger and a line-up that includes DJ Hype, Matt Jam Lamont, and Nicky Blackmarket.
But wait, there’s more! The series isn’t just about electronic beat and UK Garage. they’ve got the Lightning Seeds and Madness lighting up the stage on June 14th, Simple Minds and Del Amitri on June 20th, and a whole host of other incredible acts like Wes Nelson with Craig David, Jess Glynn, DJ Spoony, Paloma Faith, Becky Hill, Albin Lee Meldau with Jack Savoretti, and not forgetting the UK boyband sensation JLS.
And let’s talk about the venue for a sec – right on the Margate seafront. Attendees get more than just a concert; they get to dive into the town’s vibrant spirit, with its cool cafes, top-notch restaurants, artsy vibes, and all the retro fun Dreamland has to offer.
