Shola Ama and Omar are a few of exciting names who will be present at Re: Definition, a musical journey into the heart of the east end at Theatre Royal Stratford East this month.
The two-day event will be exploring East London’s rich past, present and exciting future through the eyes of its homegrown talent, the UD Vocal Collective, supported by some top names in urban music: Shola Ama, Omar, Ghetts, Maxsta, Bongo Man of Crazy Cousinz, Miss D, Devlin, and pioneers of the grime generation, NY and Lioness.
Produced by Urban Development for the CREATE10 festival, Re: Definition will be further inspiring young people and championing some of the brightest names on the local and national scene.

UD Vocal Collective, since forming three years ago, have previously performed alongside Chipmunk, Wretch32 and Young Nate; and rocked festivals from Rise to The Mayor’s Show in Newham. Led by emerging vocal star ShezAr and musical director, Daniel Thomas they’ll take the audience on a whistle-stop tour through the sights and sounds of the place they all call home. Think barbershops, backstreets and bus routes. Definately an event not to miss!
