Get ready to get locked onto your radio’s and mp3’s because The Vill-ain is gonna be stealing the show from your favourite artists. Vill is an MC, singer/ producer who hails from LA and has just released his first UK single Happy Hour from the forthcoming album Tha Vill.
Already a stalwart of the US music scene, revered for his fresh Nu Tech-Hop style (an infectious mix of electronica, hip hop and r&b), Vill’s groundbreaking sound draws from the electro urban vibe that the Black Eyed Peas, Flo-Rida and Kanye West have played with, pushing it to a different plane. It’s no surprise that the B side to Happy Hour, Fibre Optic Love, was picked up by movie producers and will feature on the Jenna Jameson film ‘How To Make Love To A Woman’
In the UK he’s had massive support from 1Xtra, Choice, Flava and Kiss, who are championing his sound. If you were feeling Kanye’s recent offering 808’s you will no doubt be nodding your head to this one.
